meet layla, a 4-5 year old female akita who has come to us from the monadnock humane society in nh. layla's owner died suddenly and was taken to the shelter. layla was already spayed before surrender, she is good around most male dogs that are her size or smaller. she walks well on leash and is calm and well mannered. please no cats for layla. layla is a svelt 80 pounds and very people friendly, she also loves children as long as they know how to respect the akita breed. great, beautiful girl (she will be extra pretty after some grooming!).
